What Is Wild Rice?
Wild rice is the edible seed of an aquatic grass, distinct from conventional white or brown rice. Our organic Canadian wild rice grows in the lakes and waterways of northern Saskatchewan and is harvested from its natural freshwater environment.
Its long, dark grains have an earthy, nutty flavour and a pleasantly chewy texture. We supply it pure, never blended with other rice.
